The Yassawi group is a creative team of professional musicians who were the first in Kazakhstan to perform the hikmets of Sultan Khoja Akhmet Yasawi and the works of Kazakh poets in a stage manner, without the accompaniment of a musical instrument (acapella).
The group, consisting of 7 people, was created in 2000.
Artistic director – Emil Eldos.
The group toured all regions of the Kazakh steppe and received warm support from the country. In addition, the creative team performed their spiritual songs on stages in foreign countries - Turkey, Mongolia, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan.
The Yassawi group is the winner of the GRAND PRIX of the VI International Festival of Mystical Music, held in Konya, Turkey, in 2009.
